West Hampstead Station, located in the London Borough of Camden, has recently undergone significant modernization. The upgrade project was led by the Buckingham Group Architects and involved the installation of new platforms clad with specialist perforated aluminium. The aluminium, provided by Eltherington, is 3mm thick and finished with a powder coating.

West Hampstead’s London Overground station has completed a major upgrade. The new platforms are clad with Eltherington specialist perforated aluminium in a powder coated finish.

The use of specialist perforated aluminium at West Hampstead Station provides several benefits.

Firstly, the material is lightweight and durable, making it ideal for use in transportation infrastructure. Additionally, the perforations in the aluminium allow for improved ventilation and light distribution, creating a more comfortable environment for commuters.

Finally, the powder coating finish ensures that the aluminium is protected from the elements and is easy to maintain.

Overall, the modernization of West Hampstead Station represents a significant investment in London's transportation infrastructure. The use of specialist perforated aluminium provides both functional and aesthetic benefits, creating a more enjoyable commuting experience for the thousands of passengers who use the station every day.
