Secret Fix - SFS1

When it comes to fixing rainscreen cladding, the method used can have a significant impact on the appearance of the building. If you're looking for a sleek, modern aesthetic, a secret fix system may be the ideal solution

With no visible fixings on the façade, the result is a smooth, unobstructed finish that looks impressive.

The Secret Fix System is a type of wall cladding system that offers a sleek and modern look for buildings.

It uses a mechanical fixing method, which means that the panels are securely fastened to the building's frame. This system is ideal for those who want a contemporary design without visible fixings or screws.

One of the important features of this system is its fire rating. The panels used with this system have a fire rating of either A1 or A2, which means that they are non-combustible and have a high resistance to fire.

This is an important consideration for building safety and compliance with fire regulations.

The finish of the panels can be customized based on preference and design. The options available include PPC, Pre-paint, Anodised, Corten, and Rimex. These finishes offer a range of colors and textures that can enhance the overall aesthetic of the building.

The thickness of the panels used with this system is typically either 2mm or 3mm. The maximum panel size is 1480 x 3850mm, with a horizontal joint of 20mm. The fixings used with this system are self-drilling mechanical fixings, and the rail centres are a maximum of 750mm.

The Secret Fix System has been tested and approved by the Centre for Window and Cladding Technology (CWCT) with Hilti-Eurofox. It can be installed using a 1st and 2nd fix layout method. Overall, this system is a great solution for those who want a modern and safe wall cladding system for their building.
