Through Fix - TFS1
Eltherington's through-fix rainscreen cladding system, specifically the TFS1, offers a versatile solution for facades that require an element of adjustment.
This system has an adjustable void depth, allowing it to accommodate a range of insulation thicknesses and overcome any irregularities in the substrate.
The through-fix system is particularly useful for existing buildings where variations in the quality of infill material make it difficult to secure fixings at certain points across the façade. The TFS1 is designed to minimize the visibility of fixings across the façade, maintaining the architectural appearance of the façade from a distance.
Furthermore, the Eltherington TFS1 is CWCT tested with large format panels and achieves a high classification of reaction to fire performance in accordance with EN 13501-1: 2018, achieving A2, s1, d0 classification. This makes the TFS1 a safe and reliable choice for architects and builders alike.
Eltherington technical staff are on hand to help our customers with specific project needs and to develop solutions to technical questions.
We are able to offer guidance on rainscreen cladding design, specifications, structural calculations and wind-loadings, where required. We are also able to provided cross sections and general assembly drawings.
