In this issue we take a look at our new CWCT accredited rainscreen planking systems.
With 3 new tested systems on offer in an unprecedented range of colours and finishes, we really do have all bases covered for specifying a façade that will bring your building to life.
When installed with our Hilti-Eurofox subframe, these innovative systems allow a precise and efficient installation, with perfect joint lines and accurate tolerances.
CPS- Clip Plank System
The Eltherington CPS is a folded metal plank that is secretly fixed on the plank returns with our polyamide clips. This engineered system allows for a larger plank face and joint detail resulting in a striking and bespoke linear design. The CPS is a bottom to top system when installed horizontally, meaning the install starts at the bottom of the elevation and each plank locks in to the clip below it. Our horizontal and vertical Hilti-Eurofox subframe will accommodate the planks being installed in any orientation whilst applying the same clip fixing method.

IPS- Interlocking Plank System
The Eltherington IPS is a pressed metal plank that is secretly fixed within the interlocking male and female joint. Available in a range of materials, finishes, face heights and lengths, this system can be fixed horizontally or vertically when installed on to our Hilti-Eurofox subframe. The IPS is a top-down system which means the install starts at the top of the elevation, interlocking the top of one plank into the bottom of another.
Material - Aluminium, Steel Finish -

Thickness - 1.2 / 1.5mm
Face Height - 150 to 350mm
Face length - 4000mm max
Install method - Top > Down

EPS- Extruded Plank System
The Eltherington EPS uses 2mm extruded aluminium that allows for a quick, simple and secret fix install. The standard plank returns along with our extruded vertical profile ensures an accurate 8mm vertical and horizontal joint gap The EPS lends itself to use in all areas including ground floor vulnerable areas due to the impact resistance of extruded aluminium. The system is also a bottom to top install. Starting at the bottom of the elevation each plank is fed into the male/female plank return below it and secured by mechanical fixings through site drilled slots into our extruded Hilti-Eurofox subframe.

Face Height - 210mm only
Face length - 6010mm max
Install method - Bottom > Up
